About the publisher

Dani LeVine started riding horses at five years old and it became a lifelong passion. She has a deep appreciation for the lessons she learned while caring for horses and developing her English hunter/jumper riding skills.  Knowing how horses can change lives, but how difficult it is to afford horses and lessons, Dani had the idea of creating this book as a fund-raiser. The proceeds will support scholarships for kids and anyone needing therapeutic riding to experience the power, grace and gift of a horse.  Hence, Get That Horse Out of the Kitchen! idea grew into an exciting fund-raising opportunity.  Let’s all pay it forward.

Helping Dani to bring her vision to reality are:

-  MC2 Marketing & On Fire Websites is Teri LeVine’s consulting practice.  Teri designed the book and website, and will be providing marketing and production support. Teri draws on her experience as Marketing Vice President in Fortune 500 companies, corporate Board Member and Treasurer, ongoing retainer with an Oregon based printing industry non-profit, President of the Oregon Horse Country Foundation, and 15 years experience in the wonderful world of horses.

-  Advisors – Oregon Horse Country Advisory Council and equestrian friends have provided counsel and encouragement, plus an advisory committee will be created to review scholarship and riding school/camp applications, and make selections.

-  Julie Ward Photography – For use of her wonderful photos of Dani and her horse of five years, Jake.  There is also vintage photography courtesy of the Lake Oswego Public Library and the University of Oregon Archives.

-  Oregon Horse Country Foundation – A non-profit 501(c)3 organization will possibly be the issuer of the scholarships and grants.
